Zydus Biologics walk-in interviews on 5th March 2024

Zydus Biologics, also recognized as Zydus Cadila, is an Indian multinational pharmaceutical corporation based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. The company specializes in producing generic drugs and was listed as the 100th company in the Fortune India 500 list for the year 2020. Established in 1952 by Ramanbhai Patel (1925-2001) and his business associate Indravadan Modi, Cadila originated from Ramanbhai Patel’s previous role as a lecturer at the L.M. College of Pharmacy. Over the following forty years, it developed into a well-established pharmaceutical entity.

Zydus Biologics is hiring for Engineering and Warehouse departments. Candidates are welcome to attend a walk-in interview for the Engineering and Warehouse departments at Zydus Biologics (Zydus Biotech Park) on Tuesday, 5th March, from 9 am to 3 pm.

Department: Engineering

Executive / Sr. Executive – Instrumentation: Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering (BE/ B.Tech) with 2-5 years of experience in the Biotech industry. The role involves conducting preventive maintenance on plant/process equipment, performing calibrations, qualifying equipment & 21 CFR SCADA systems, instruments, and utilities following specified procedures. Candidates should possess practical troubleshooting skills in SCADA, PLC, and instruments. Additionally, they must be familiar with process equipment such as autoclaves, bio-reactors, fermenters, lyophilizers, and have expertise in safety protocols including LOTO, proper use of PPEs, and work permit systems.

Plant Operator: ITI / Diploma in Engineering with 3-8 yrs. of experience in following areas:

• Water System: Candidates will be accountable for the upkeep and repair of the water system, as well as the operation of the bore well, softener, RO plant, WFI, purified water, and pure steam generation and distribution system.
• Electrician: Candidates will have the duty of overseeing the upkeep and repair of the electrical and lighting systems, as well as DOL, star delta starters, VFD based panels, vessels, vial washing machine, dehydrogenation tunnel, vial filling machine, vial capping machine, packing machines, bioreactors, centrifuge, chiller, air compressor, boiler, and water treatment plant. Additionally, they will be in charge of operating DG sets, LT panels, HT panel, transformer, and other electrical switchgears.
• HVAC System: The responsibilities of the candidates would include overseeing the AHU system, managing the BMS/EMS system, conducting regular maintenance on the AHU system including periodic filter cleaning, ensuring air velocity and HEPA filter integrity, operating and maintaining the VRV system, as well as maintaining the split AC and walk-in cooler.
• Instrumentation: Candidates will have the duty of keeping track of the calibration records for instruments, chambers, and cold rooms, as well as performing instrument calibration. Additionally, they will be in charge of developing procedures for preventive and breakdown maintenance, understanding the working principles of instruments and troubleshooting them, resolving equipment issues, checking PLC wiring loops, carrying out plant maintenance activities, calibrating level sensors, and possessing computer skills.

Department : Warehouse

Executive / Sr. Executive: Candidates applying for this position should possess a Master’s degree in either M.Sc. or M. Com or a Bachelor’s degree in B.Sc. Additionally, they should have a minimum of 3-8 years of experience working in a GMP system and should be proficient in writing QMS documents. It is essential for candidates to have excellent knowledge of SAP and be familiar with all T-codes related to GRN invoice, STO, and FG dispatches. Furthermore, candidates should have prior experience working in an ASRS facility and be capable of conducting equipment validation and performance verification activities for cell bank storage systems, deep freezers, and temperature monitoring in the warehouse area. A thorough understanding and experience in material management, including receipt, storage, rejection, dispensing, and dispatching, is also required for raw materials, consumables, API (DS), and drug products.

Candidates must possess experience with regulatory documentation requirements and cGMP/GLP for all positions listed.
