Job Title: Junior Medical Coder
Experience: Freshers
Qualification: B.Sc./ B Pharm
Job Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Junior Medical Coders. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers who are looking to kickstart their career in healthcare coding..

Responsibilities:

• Learn and understand coding principles, guidelines, and regulations, including ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II coding systems
• Review medical records to identify diagnoses, procedures, and services rendered by healthcare providers
• Assign appropriate medical codes based on documentation and coding guidelines
• Collaborate with experienced coders and healthcare providers to resolve coding discrepancies and documentation issues
• Participate in training programs and educational activities to enhance coding skills and knowledge
• Maintain accuracy and productivity standards while adhering to coding policies and procedures
• Keep abreast of updates and changes in coding regulations and industry trends

Requirements:

• Life science & paramedical graduates
• Strong interest in healthcare coding and willingness to learn
• Basic understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate professionally
• Proficiency in using computers and basic software applications
• Willingness to undergo training and pursue coding certifications.
