Do you have a strong enthusiasm for advancing the field of chemistry? Anthem Biosciences is seeking candidates for the Scientist/Senior Scientist position within our vibrant Chemistry Lab (CL) located in Bommasandra or Harohalli.

Role: Scientist/Senior Scientist
Qualification & Experience: With an academic background in MSc Chemistry (Organic/Industrial/General/Medicinal) and 1-4 years of relevant experience, this is your opportunity to make a tangible impact in science and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary duties associated with this position, along with essential activities necessary for their execution.

Organic Synthesis & Reaction Optimization:

  • Develop and implement intricate synthetic pathways to create innovative organic compounds.
  • Refine reaction parameters to enhance the yield, purity, and scalability of target compounds.
  • Facilitate the scale-up of laboratory reactions for both pilot and production phases.

Characterization & Analytical Techniques:

  • Perform comprehensive characterization of compounds utilizing methods such as NMR, IR, MS, HPLC, and GC.
  • Analyze the resulting data to evaluate the structure, purity, and properties of synthesized compounds.
  • Compose detailed reports that outline experimental methodologies, findings, and conclusions.

Research & Development:

  • Engage with interdisciplinary teams to create new products or enhance existing formulations.
  • Remain informed about the latest research and trends in organic chemistry to foster innovation.
  • Contribute to the development of new methods, processes, and technologies for organic compound synthesis and characterization.

Laboratory Management:

  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe laboratory setting.
  • Adhere to laboratory safety standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Prepare and maintain thorough experimental documentation in accordance with company protocols.

Project Management & Reporting:

  • Oversee multiple projects concurrently, ensuring their timely and efficient execution.
  • Relay research outcomes and progress updates to senior management and project stakeholders.
  • Draft and deliver technical reports, presentations, and publications for both internal and external audiences.
